First and Last Page

HA!!! This was a long time in the making. So I was going to just do a two image first and last page of a sketchbook and then I realized I had actually based my first page on the very first page of the very first moleskine that I started. Which is why there is crazy little notes all over the middle image. So now there are three.

Although I obviously dated the second two I'll give you a timeline:

First image approx. December 25, 2009
Second image: December 25, 2010
Third Image: July 26, 2013

Why such a long delay from second to third? because I am always buying new sketch books and using them for a while and then returning to this one and now I have finally finished it 2.5 years later.

I love doing a first and last page of a sketch book. It shows how much you've improved. even if it takes you years to finish.

And what have I learned from all this time? Draw everyday. Or as much as you can and USE REFERENCES!!!!! Holy smokes that makes all the difference in the world.
